About the role#
The R&D Lab Coordinator Intern supports the daily operations of our research and development lab in Burlington. You will assist the Lab Manager with routine coordination tasks, including asset management, calibration support, and inventory control for our high-speed data communications testing environment.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with engineering teams to source, rent, and purchase testing equipment and peripherals.
- Manage the Indysoft calibration and asset database.
- Support onsite and off-site calibration activities for critical R&D equipment.
- Maintain inventories for fiber optics, high-speed cables, lab tools, chemicals, and ESD PPE.
- Work with external vendors on equipment procurement.
- Assist with component procurement and reservations through SAP.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, 18001, and 9001 standards, including maintaining lab cleanliness and audit readiness.

Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Burlington, Ontario.
- The work schedule is Monday to Friday.
- The pay range for this position is 26 to 28.5 CAD per hour.
