About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site Pharmacy Intern position within the resource pool at Self Regional Healthcare. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations. Shifts vary and include weekend and holiday rotations.
What you'll do#
- Manage drug distribution services and order processing.
- Prepare pharmaceutical doses.
- Perform clerical tasks as needed.
- Conduct monthly unit floor inspections.
- Check departmental sections to ensure inventory levels of in-date pharmaceuticals are maintained.
- Assist with performance improvement activities.
- Complete other duties as requested by pharmacy management or a pharmacist.
What you'll need#
- Current South Carolina Pharmacy Intern Certificate.
- Active registration as a pharmacy intern with the SC Board of Pharmacy.
- Enrollment in a PharmD program.
- Basic typing skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and equipment used for the preparation, repackaging, dispensing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
