About the role#
Our Damages & Valuations team works at the intersection of finance, data, strategy, and the law. We help clients solve high-stakes problems when they need to understand business value, financial losses, or the story told by financial evidence. As an intern, you will collaborate with accountants, economists, PhDs, and valuation experts to investigate complex issues and turn financial data into clear insights. This role is for the Summer 2027 term and is based in our Boston office.
What you'll do#
- Dig into case documents, research materials, and discovery records to identify key facts.
- Analyze financial statements, business records, and market data to help quantify damages.
- Build models and organize data to explain financial issues accurately.
- Contribute to reports, presentations, and other client-ready materials.
- Work directly with senior consultants and experts on litigation support and valuation projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- An expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools such as Stata, R, Python, or SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Experience with research projects, internships, or academic work that demonstrates attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and work effectively in a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
