The Supply Chain Intern supports day-to-day procurement and demand planning operations by ensuring materials are accurately tracked, ordered, and delivered to meet business needs. This role involves maintaining critical system data to support planning accuracy and ERP readiness, while collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure material availability. You will gain hands-on experience in supply chain processes while developing organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
What you'll do#
- Process material transfers and support material disposition reviews assigned to Procurement Demand Planning.
- Create manual requisitions for emergent demand, Category B requests, and Estimate to Procure (ETP) requisitions approved by leadership.
- Maintain system data to support continuous conversion readiness for Oracle go-live activities.
- Clean up aging requisitions and improve data accuracy in planning and procurement systems.
- Assign and maintain part attributes for new part numbers, including purchase group, lead time, and buyer information.
- Monitor order progress, track purchase order status, and flag late deliveries for follow-up.
- Update planned delivery dates on purchase orders to maintain accurate supply visibility.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, quality control, and operations teams to resolve issues and support material readiness.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 2nd or 3rd year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on priorities.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate issues proactively.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Oracle or IFS) and previous internship, co-op, or administrative experience in supply chain or operations are considered assets.
Location & details#
- Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Work Modality: This role is required to be fully on-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
- Status: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position ($28.00/hour).
- Security: This position may involve technical data regulated by the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The successful candidate will be subject to a security clearance through the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
