Intern, Supply Chain

About the role#

The Intern, Supply Chain (New Construction) supports the Federal Fleet Renewal (FFR) Program by monitoring financial reporting, tracking expenditures and budgets, and developing project reports. This role involves close collaboration with the Supply Chain Controls, Procurement, and Subcontracts teams to support the construction of new vessels.

What you'll do#

• Provide bi-weekly reports for subcontract expenditure and monitor invoice movement.
• Compile information and prepare reports regarding project commitments.
• Track forecasted late spend and expedite purchase order delivery date updates.
• Reconcile financial data sources for warehouse receipts and invoice payments.
• Review, consolidate, and report on data sources for financial reporting.
• Update databases and generate reports using Excel and Power BI to support project financial controls.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing studies in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Knowledge of finance, supply chain, and business analytics.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and SharePoint.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of financial concepts and quantitative analysis.

• Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
• Term: Fall 2026 (8-month internship).
• Modality: Full-time, on-site.
• Compensation: Paid position ($28.00/hour).
• Security: This role requires a security clearance through the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
