About the role#
This is a part-time position for undergraduate students currently enrolled at the University of California San Diego. You will gain occupational experience and receive supervised training while working in a laboratory or vivarium environment. The role is limited to 19 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic laboratory maintenance tasks.
- Wash glassware and handle autoclaving duties.
- Prepare media, solutions, and buffers.
- Replenish laboratory supplies.
- Follow experimental procedures as assigned by laboratory staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at the University of California San Diego.
- An active Work-study funding award for the current academic year.
- A copy of your UCSD Off Campus Work-study Job Referral document to upload with your application.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in San Diego, California.
- The role is paid with an expected hiring range of $17.75 to $23.00 per hour.
- This is a part-time position with rolling availability.
