About the role#
The Enterprise AI team is looking for an intern to own a backlog of AI use cases. You will work in the New York City office during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position. We consider strong performers for a full-time offer after the program ends.
What you'll do#
- Take AI projects from initial idea to final adoption.
- Meet with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Design, build, and test AI solutions.
- Roll out completed tools to users and track their impact.
- Partner with the Platform and Tools team to use shared infrastructure, APIs, and SDKs.
- Collaborate with senior team members to deliver solutions within our investment environment.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Go, Java, or TypeScript is a bonus.
- A working understanding of LLM-based applications, including prompting, retrieval, agents, and model APIs.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into scoped, deliverable projects.
- Excellent communication skills to work with non-technical stakeholders.
- A bias toward shipping end-to-end solutions.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Prior experience in the financial industry is a plus.
