About the role#
As a Software Development and Testing Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of SAS software for new and existing products. You will work within specific business units including Education, Marketing, Fraud & Security Intelligence, Analytics, and Research & Development. This role involves working in accordance with established development practices, timelines, and quality expectations.

- Engage in front-end, back-end, or full-stack development projects.
- Perform software testing tasks.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and company events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an undergraduate student in an accredited program, with a graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and initiative.
- A genuine interest in the future of analytics and technology.
- A curious, authentic, and accountable mindset.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Cary, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days per week in the office).
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
