About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate Program offers MBA students hands-on experience within Santander CIB. Starting in June 2027, you will work alongside experienced professionals to develop technical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. You will be paired with a mentor to help build relationships across the organization and gain a foundation for a career in investment banking. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Los Angeles.
What you'll do#
- Provide strategic advice to corporate clients to support their business objectives.
- Assist in raising capital for expansions and acquiring companies.
- Execute transactions and manage risks in a complex environment.
- Work independently on special projects while contributing to team goals.
- Develop long-term client relationships and deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with an expected graduation date of May or June 2028.
- At least 3 years of prior work experience.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
