About the role#
The Portfolio Growth and Product COO team works with Salesforce product executives to drive go-to-market execution, strategic planning, and business analysis. This internship role blends strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, and analytics. You will support our product portfolio through market research, revenue forecasting, and sales pipeline analysis. This position requires a mix of business operational support and technical data work.
What you'll do#
- Design and maintain automated key performance dashboards.
- Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations.
- Monitor key performance metrics and deliver insights to leadership.
- Drive strategic initiatives, including product expansion, white space analysis, and new product launches.
- Develop and test AI-enabled tools or workflows to automate analysis and improve reporting.
- Build reports using Salesforce.com, Google Sheets, and Tableau.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and propose process improvements.
- Assist in developing presentations for senior executives.
- Support Salesforce process enhancements and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Rising Senior status, graduating between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Coursework in data analysis, economics, strategy, advanced mathematics, or statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets modeling and presentation building in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Experience with database querying, such as SQL or Oracle.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and building reporting for key performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-related projects, including applying machine learning or generative AI to automate workflows or solve business problems.
- Experience with Tableau and dashboard development is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
