About the role#
The Nursing Intern for the Neuro 2 unit works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient care. This is a paid, on-site position available for the Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 terms. The role requires a minimum commitment of one shift per six-week schedule.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures and provide direct or indirect patient care.
- Support other members of the healthcare team.
- Complete technical tasks according to unit competency validation.
- Note that interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
