Quality Engineering Support (Co-op)

About the role#

The Quality Engineering Support student will assist with quality improvement initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and support process owners with change management. This role provides hands-on experience in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Monitor operational performance metrics and summarize findings for reports.
• Identify operational issues and conduct root cause analysis to determine corrective actions.
• Support process owners in managing changes to workflows and documentation.
• Perform daily tasks that may include walking, standing, and moving equipment up to 20lbs.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program for Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Participation in a registered co-op program with availability for an 8 or 12-month placement starting in Fall 2026.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong interest in engineering design and manufacturing.
• Previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset.

• Location: Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026 (8-month or 12-month placement).
• Compensation: $22.70 - $36.40 per hour, based on year of study, academic program, and prior co-op experience.
