About the role#
S&C Electric Company is seeking a student to join our Quality Assurance team. This position supports quality improvement projects, monitors operational performance, and ensures that changes to processes and drawings are complete.
What you'll do#
- Monitor operational performance metrics.
- Summarize and present reports.
- Identify operational issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify corrective actions.
- Support process owners with change management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree or diploma program for Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Registration in a co-op program.
- Availability for an 8-month placement from January 2027 to August 2027.
- Interest in engineering design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Visual Basic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and function as a team player.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (8 months).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.70 - $36.40 per hour, based on year of study, academic program, and prior co-op experience.
