About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in completing designated projects. You will focus on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and company business policies. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
- Communicate clearly in both oral and written forms.
- Read and interpret contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
- You must be within 18 months of graduation.
- You are available to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
