About the role#
Ryan Companies is hiring a Project Engineer Intern to join our team in Atlanta. This role is available for terms in Summer 2027, Winter 2027, or Fall 2027. You will support the project team on designated assignments while learning our internal business policies and industry procedures.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with the completion of assigned projects.
- Learn the fundamentals of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Gain practical experience in job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, construction engineering, or a closely related field.
- You are within 18 months of graduation.
- You can commit to working 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
- You have the ability to perform mathematical calculations and read architectural or engineering drawings.
- You can provide verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.

- This position is based on-site in Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
