About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work with our project team to complete designated projects. This role focuses on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and company policies. You will work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
What you'll do#
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, management, or a closely related field.
- You should be within 18 months of graduating.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
- Clear communication skills, both oral and written.

- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Hourly pay range: $20 - $25 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
