About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern at Ryan Companies US, Inc., you will support the project team in completing designated projects. This role focuses on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and company business policies. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Minneapolis. We are not providing sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with project completion tasks.
- Learn how to manage budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Gain experience with job-site coordination and scheduling.
- Focus on quality control and safety standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related construction management field.
- You should be within 18 months of graduation.
- You must be able to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods is helpful.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings is preferred.
