About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work with the project team to complete designated projects. You will focus on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and company business policies.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with project completion.
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, management, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a closely related field.
- Within 18 months of graduation.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods is preferred.

- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour.
