About the role#
The Cloud Services Consulting Intern role is a chance to gain hands-on experience in technology infrastructure. You will work with client companies to install, implement, and support advanced systems and network infrastructure. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support and troubleshoot workstations, servers, and network issues.
- Perform systems administration for Office 365, Windows Servers, and workstations for multiple clients.
- Develop IT operations plans to maintain technology environments.
- Assist with implementations or upgrades for vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, VMware, Nimble, NetApp, and Meraki.
- Manage collaboration upgrades, including VoIP telephony, video conferencing, and other tools.
- Help organizations adopt modern workplace solutions.
- Migrate client on-premise infrastructure to cloud workloads in Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Assist in client infrastructure assessments and IT audits.
- Provide phone and email technical support to resolve hardware or software issues.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an IT-related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Familiarity with Apple and Windows-based hardware and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, firewalls, VMware, and Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with remote solutions like Citrix, VPN, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to client locations.
- Access to reliable transportation.
