About the role#
Rosendin offers a 12-week paid internship for students seeking hands-on experience in the electrical construction industry. As an Engineering Intern, you will work on active projects alongside experienced professionals. This role provides exposure to electrical systems, engineering processes, and project execution. You will contribute to meaningful work while developing your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with design activities for power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
- Support the preparation and review of technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform basic electrical calculations and engineering analyses for project deliverables.
- Participate in project meetings and work with engineering and construction teams.
- Support site visits and field observations to learn about project execution and existing electrical systems.
- Learn and use industry software, tools, and engineering best practices.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or Construction Engineering, or Construction Sciences.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later, with rising junior or senior status preferred.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, follow directions, and take initiative.
- Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn in a team environment.
