About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern in Long Beach, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on sourcing and procuring parts globally. You will manage supplier relationships, identify cost reduction opportunities, and coordinate the delivery of critical hardware for space systems and launch products. This role requires working on-site full-time for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting in early 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering and industry concepts to real challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with supervisors for progress updates and professional development.
- Participate in tech talks and network with other interns and employees through social and professional events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- At least 3 months of corporate experience in a supply chain function.
- Preferred: GPA of 3.5 or above, 6+ months of supply chain experience, and knowledge of 5S principles.
- Preferred technical skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Python, Six Sigma, Infor LN, and warehouse operations.
