About the role#
The Development Intern will join the Northeast Development Team at our New York City headquarters. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will work on-site in Midtown Manhattan to support various real estate projects and team operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform due diligence reviews for potential new deals.
- Assist with market analysis and underwriting for acquisition opportunities.
- Research and source on and off-market development sites.
- Conduct market research on neighborhoods across the NYC-metro area.
- Support the team with construction completion, project budgets, and financial reporting.
- Participate in branding and lease-up efforts for new apartment communities.
- Gather comparable project data and handle miscellaneous data input.
- Prepare agendas and attend project meetings.
- Complete administrative tasks as required.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student entering your junior or senior year.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the real estate industry after graduation.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage your time effectively while working both independently and in a team setting.
- A motivated and cooperative attitude.
