About the role#
As a Patient Care Tech, you will support patient care at Unity Hospital. You will work under the direction of a licensed nurse to follow established treatment plans and help maintain the organization of the patient care unit.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct or indirect care to patients.
- Follow treatment plans set by a licensed nurse.
- Assist with tasks related to the management and organization of the unit.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a nursing student.
- High sensory acuity to monitor patient status and respond to safety concerns.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs.
- Capacity to push and pull medical equipment and assist with patient positioning.
