About the role#
This position offers clinical students the opportunity to shadow experienced professionals across Rochester Regional Health facilities. It provides exposure to real-world clinical practice and insight into daily professional responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Shadow an experienced professional within your clinical field.
- Gain a firsthand understanding of patient care and team collaboration.
- Observe day-to-day responsibilities in a professional healthcare setting.
- Engage with clinical workflows and professional communication.
- Ask questions and learn directly from experts in the field.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment and matriculation in an accredited program for Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physical Medicine (OT/PT/SLP), Social Work, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Registered Dietician, Pharmacy, or Surgical Technology.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including medium work (exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally) and frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
- Previous experience in clinical settings may be required depending on the specific program.
