Video Intern

About the role#

The Video Intern will produce, edit, and publish content across Rho’s digital channels, including podcasts, YouTube, and short-form social media. Working alongside the marketing and brand teams, you will participate in every stage of production, from initial filming to final distribution. This role focuses on high-volume output and rapid iteration, requiring a candidate who stays current with platform trends and is dedicated to improving content performance through data.

What you'll do#

• Edit short-form video content from podcast recordings, event footage, and original shoots, including cuts, captions, hooks, and thumbnails.
• Assist on production sets with equipment setup, camera operation, b-roll capture, and lighting for both in-office and on-location shoots.
• Manage the publishing schedule across social media platforms including X, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Maintain a fast production cadence, often delivering same-day or next-day edits for events and launches.
• Track and report on basic performance metrics such as impressions, watch time, and engagement to identify successful content strategies.
• Communicate project status and timelines clearly while incorporating feedback into future iterations.

What you'll need#

• Demonstrated video editing ability through a portfolio, personal account, or reel showcasing short-form social content.
• Proficiency in a professional editing tool such as Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or DaVinci.
• Deep understanding of social media content dynamics and what drives engagement on current platforms.
• Familiarity with camera and audio basics, or a strong willingness to learn these skills quickly on set.
• High attention to detail to ensure all content is error-free and aligns with brand standards.
• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Marketing, or Business Administration.
