About the role#
REV Group, Inc is seeking an intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Ocala, Florida. You will support our engineering and design teams by creating technical drawings and managing project documentation for fire apparatus vehicles.
What you'll do#
- Prepare accurate production prints, dash layouts, and approval drawings.
- Use CAD software to develop drawings, schematics, and three-dimensional models.
- Assist Design Engineers with drawing updates and technical support for production, sales, and warranty departments.
- Gather and consolidate product or material information from various sources.
- Calculate material quantities using established formulas.
- Create sectional views and sub-assembly drawings to define component relationships.
- Assess how design changes affect the form, fit, and function of parts.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Graphic Design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and database software.
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds and perform tasks like standing, walking, or reaching.
