About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in branch operations within the financial services industry. You will learn the daily functions of a branch, gain exposure to the Republic Way sales and customer service approach, and participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program. The program is designed to introduce you to various career paths and company initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
- Allocate files for document preparation and audit closed files.
- Complete compliance training and become licensed in voluntary insurance products.
- Participate in leadership training and work on branch operations continuous improvement projects.
- Shadow your Manager and the Regional Vice President to understand promotional paths.
- Attend regional meetings and workshops.
- Learn about corporate roles in areas such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in college.
- Major in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable work ethic and enthusiasm for learning.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, credit history review, and pre-employment drug screen.
