About the role#
Republic Finance is seeking a Branch Operations Intern to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. This internship provides hands-on experience in the daily functions of a financial services branch. You will work alongside our team to learn about our business, sales approach, and customer service standards. This role is paid and requires an on-site presence.
What you'll do#
- Learn daily branch operations and the broader organization structure.
- Assist with loan production, including origination, processing, closings, and funding.
- Manage file allocation for document preparation, audit closed files, and prepare files for funding.
- Complete compliance training and work toward becoming licensed for insurance products.
- Participate in leadership training and contribute to branch operations improvement projects.
- Shadow Managers and Regional Vice Presidents to understand career paths and leadership responsibilities.
- Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the wider division.
- Explore various corporate roles that value branch experience.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Availability to work at least 18 to 20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A reliable, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and meet company standards for criminal and credit background checks.
