Franklin College Sales and Marketing Intern

About the role#

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Sales and Marketing Intern to join the team as a Brand Ambassador. This part-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience in lead generation, outbound sales, and event marketing strategies. Interns will participate in monthly professional development workshops aligned with NACE core competencies and conclude the term with a final project presentation to leadership.

What you'll do#

• Engage with homeowners at retail stores, tradeshows, and community events to build rapport and uncover customer needs.
• Market window and door products to a diverse audience and educate potential customers on solutions.
• Generate high-quality sales leads and schedule in-home consultations for the sales team.
• Use persuasion and influence to encourage homeowners to take the next step.
• Attend monthly professional development meetings with executive leaders.

What you'll need#

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• A natural aptitude for sales and a knack for persuasion.
• Resilience, motivation, and the ability to handle rejection while working toward goals.
• High levels of professionalism and coachability, including reliability and openness to feedback.
• Reliable transportation, including a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Psychology.
