Butler University Sales and Marketing Intern

About the role#

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Sales and Marketing Intern for a part-time role based in Indianapolis. This position functions as a Brand Ambassador, focusing on lead generation and face-to-face customer engagement. Interns will receive hands-on training, participate in monthly professional development workshops aligned with NACE core competencies, and present a final project to company leadership.

What you'll do#

• Engage with homeowners at retail stores, tradeshows, and community events.
• Start conversations, build rapport, and educate potential customers on window and door solutions.
• Market products to a diverse audience.
• Generate high-quality sales leads and schedule free, in-home consultations for the sales team.
• Use persuasion and influence to encourage homeowners to take the next step.
• Attend monthly professional development meetings with executive leaders.
• Conduct a final project presentation for company leadership.

What you'll need#

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to various event locations.
• A motivated and resilient personality with the ability to handle rejection.
• A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and accept feedback.
• Professionalism and coachability.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration is preferred.
