About the role#
The Lead Student Ambassador serves as a representative of Regis University, working within the Office of Admissions to support campus visits and marketing efforts. This role reports to the Assistant Director of Project Management and involves training and leading the broader student ambassador team. You will work 5-8 hours per week, with additional availability required for some evenings and weekends. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Lead campus tours for prospective students and families.
- Assist with admissions events, including event preparation, giving presentations, and participating in student panels.
- Train and mentor the student ambassador team during daily operations and events.
- Support marketing projects, including content creation, social media posts, and email communications.
- Conduct outreach to students and families regarding upcoming events.
- Assist with office tasks like managing inquiry cards and tracking marketing inventory.
What you'll need#
- Moderate to extensive prior experience as a student ambassador.
- Enrollment as a full-time student in good academic standing, with a preference for majors in Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work well both independently and in teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling student records.
- A professional, punctual, and proactive approach to customer service.
