AI Engineer Internship

About the role#

Rebel Athletic is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to focus on Agentic AI. This role involves designing and deploying AI systems that automate workflows and drive business outcomes across sales, design, operations, and manufacturing. You will work directly with the Technology team to build AI agents that integrate into production environments and impact company operations.

What you'll do#

• Work directly with the Technology team to design and deploy AI solutions into production environments.
• Build AI agents that automate real business processes.
• Turn complex workflows into structured, multi-step AI systems.
• Work hands-on with Python, LLMs, APIs, and modern AI frameworks.
• Integrate AI into platforms including NetSuite, Salesforce, and internal tools.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on solutions while partnering with business teams to identify automation opportunities.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate or graduate student (Class of 2027) in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience building AI agents through projects, internships, or research.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with AI or ML tools.
• Proficiency working with LLMs and APIs.
• Ability to translate business problems into working technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a systems thinking mindset.
• Preference for experience with frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or n8n, and knowledge of RAG, memory systems, and multi-agent architectures.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $25 per hour.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
