High School Service Intern

About the role#

This internship provides high school students with paid, part-time experience at RDO Equipment Co. Participants gain exposure to the heavy equipment industry by working within the parts, sales, and service departments. This is a rolling opportunity designed for students to work during summers, school breaks, and after-school hours.

What you'll do#

• Shadow, learn from, and assist technicians with equipment repairs.
• Support daily operations within the parts department and showroom.
• Assist with building and yard maintenance, including cleaning equipment.
• Participate in company-sponsored training to build your knowledge and skills.
• Engage in team meetings and communication efforts.
• Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers and the community.
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $18 – $19 per hour.
