Access Your Future Service Intern

About the role#

The Access Your Future Service Intern program at RDO Equipment Co. is designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world heavy equipment maintenance. This paid summer 2026 internship provides hands-on experience working on machinery alongside experienced mentors. Interns who complete the program may be eligible for full-time employment, company-paid tools, and financial incentives upon graduation.

What you'll do#

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Assist skilled mentors with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Document machine details, parts, and fluids used on service orders to ensure team efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while demonstrating proper care for tools and equipment.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service or Diesel Technology program.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Practical experience using mechanical tools.
• Strong computer skills and clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
