The Access Your Future Service Intern program at RDO Equipment Co. offers students hands-on experience in machinery manufacturing. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside skilled technicians to gain practical knowledge in equipment maintenance and repair while completing your education.
What you'll do#
- Shadow skilled technicians during equipment repairs, inspections, and reconditioning.
- Learn and apply preventive maintenance techniques.
- Use diagnostic software to identify equipment issues.
- Document machine details, parts used, and repair work on service orders.
- Maintain shop organization and cleanliness to ensure an efficient workspace.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid attendance record.
- Experience using mechanical tools.
- Strong computer skills for documentation and diagnostic tasks.
- Valid work authorization in the United States.
