Access Your Future Service Intern

About the role#

The Access Your Future Service Intern program is designed for students pursuing a career as a Service Technician in the equipment industry. This role provides a structured path for educational support and hands-on experience while you attend a technical service program. You will work alongside a mentor to gain practical skills in equipment maintenance and repair.

What you'll do#

• Partner with a mentor to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment.
• Document machine information, parts used, and repairs completed on work orders.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure proper care for shop tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
• Proactively participate in company-sponsored training to develop your technical knowledge.
• Maintain professional relationships with peers and customers to support teamwork and service standards.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or similar technical program.
• Ability to maintain a 3.0 GPA and an acceptable attendance record.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience with trade-specific hand and pneumatic tools.
• Proficiency in computer use and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
