About the role#
This position focuses on professional relationship management and providing financial advice within the Media and Entertainment market. You will work as a member of a Client Relationship Team to align sales, products, and risk strategies to meet specific client needs. This role requires a collaborative approach to coordinate with expert advisors and deliver solutions.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and generate leads for new and existing clients using your business development experience.
- Provide financial advice to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Coordinate with a group of expert advisors to execute client contact strategies.
- Manage portfolios and mitigate risk by reviewing financial statements.
- Monitor market trends, assess risk, and identify opportunities for credit restructuring.
- Identify referral opportunities and introduce clients to RBC partners.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial banking experience.
- Proven track record in business development, relationship management, and client-centricity.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in new client acquisition, including cold calling, lead generation, and pitching value propositions.
- Proficiency with digital banking, mobile applications, and web-based meeting tools.
- University degree, preferably in business administration or commerce.
- Credit skills, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
- Specialized industry expertise in fields such as real estate, agriculture, or healthcare is an asset.
