About the role#
You will manage a portfolio of small business clients, helping them start, manage, and grow their enterprises. As a representative of the bank, you will focus on external marketing, client acquisition, and deepening existing relationships. You will work alongside other advisors and specialists to deliver tailored financial advice and support.
What you'll do#
- Acquire and grow client relationships by providing value-added financial advice.
- Proactively contact clients to gather insights and understand their evolving needs.
- Plan market activities and introduce clients to internal partners to meet their business and personal financial goals.
- Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures, creating action plans for identified concerns.
- Advocate for digital tools by helping clients use mobile and online applications.
- Visit clients on-site to gain a practical understanding of their business operations and objectives.
What you'll need#
- Skills in business development, client acquisition, and prospecting.
- Experience building and using Centres of Influence within the local business community.
- A track record in client relationship management.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of credit, risk assessments, financial analysis, and deal presentations is an asset.
- Experience as a small business owner or in a similar field is helpful.
- Familiarity with a broad range of business and personal financial products.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
