About the role#
This four-month internship provides an introduction to commercial banking. You will work within a Commercial Banking Centre to support clients with their day-to-day operations. The role involves a mix of observation, self-study, and interactive training to build your skills in financial services.
What you'll do#
- Provide reactive and proactive service to commercial clients across various specialized areas.
- Learn the process of needs discovery and solution development.
- Advise clients on their daily banking requirements.
- Partner with Account Managers to identify, plan, and deliver solutions to clients and prospects.
- Participate in contact programs to build and maintain strong client relationships.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Financial acumen, including the ability to perform risk analysis and financial studies.
- Experience assembling financing solutions for clients with varying levels of complexity.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including web-based meetings, social media, and mobile banking applications.
- Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with partners.
- You must be returning to school after the work term or require this internship as a mandatory graduation component.
