About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate program offers hands-on experience within our Capital Markets and Advisory division. You will join an industry or product-focused team to work on significant business matters, including public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory services. This full-time, paid internship takes place during Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build financial models to assess debt and equity financing alternatives.
- Conduct valuation methodologies, comparative company analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Provide input on equity offerings, valuations, private placements, and M&A advisories.
- Research, analyze, and document elements of developing transactions.
- Partner with Senior Bankers to create client presentations and unique materials.
- Monitor current events in industry groups to assess their impact on clients and deals.
- Assist with the execution of M&A and financing transactions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited graduate degree program.
- At least two years of relevant, professional work experience.
- Knowledge of investment banking and securities industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with tax, accounting, and financial market products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Capacity to organize and track multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to think independently and build effective working relationships.
- Uncompromising adherence to ethical principles.
