About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Test & Validation Engineering Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Uniontown, Ohio. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and fabrication of electrical and mechanical test fixtures.
- Build and fabricate product prototypes and hardware.
- Develop test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and manuals.
- Operate laboratory equipment such as universal testers, environmental chambers, vibration tables, ovens, and an icing wind tunnel.
- Collaborate as part of an integrated team, receiving technical guidance from engineers and technicians.
- Learn the details of components for ice protection, potable water systems, and specialty heated applications.
- Gain experience with aerospace design and test standards.
- Observe how MATLAB and LabVIEW are applied in real-world test setups for data collection.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM major.
- Enrollment must continue through the completion of the co-op session.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Relevant experience gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous jobs.
