    About the role#

    The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities team in Marlborough, MA, integrates hardware and software to verify system requirements. You will work across the product lifecycle, from development and testing to production and deployment. This role involves hands-on work in the lab and field to ensure system performance and reliability.

    What you'll do#

    • Integrate hardware and software components.
    • Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
    • Debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces.
    • Perform functional analysis of real-world and test data.
    • Conduct trade studies to support advanced features.
    • Support troubleshooting and failure data analysis, including root cause investigations.
    • Use lab and field test equipment for system integration.
    • Maintain engineering specifications, schematics, and assembly drawings.
    • Compile performance evaluations and present results to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain engineering databases and participate in team and working group meetings.
    • Support product qualification and sustainment activities, including depot returns and repairs.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in a STEM field.
    • Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
    • Experience troubleshooting technical issues through coursework, research, or previous internships.
    • Familiarity with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
    • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, or software system integration.
    • Exposure to C, C++, or C#.
    • Experience with MATLAB or Python scripting for data analysis and automation.
    • Familiarity with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communication protocols.
    • Exposure to military platforms such as ships, ground combat systems, or aircraft.
    • Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
    • Test event support may require up to 20% travel.
