About the role#
As a member of the industrial hygiene team, you will support health and safety initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will collaborate across teams, including environment, ergonomics, and water treatment, to complete projects and prepare for safety awareness events.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site risk assessments for industrial hygiene and ergonomics.
- Conduct sampling for physical and chemical contaminants, such as noise, dust, solvents, and electromagnetic fields.
- Review and create documentation for personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct health and safety audits, including respiratory protection programs.
- Support the broader Health & Safety team with industrial hygiene program requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian CEGEP or university program related to industrial hygiene, environmental studies, or health and safety.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Strong observation skills combined with the ability to work with initiative and autonomy.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is required; English is considered an asset.
- Skills in project management, IT systems, and teamwork are considered assets.
Location & details#
- Location: 1000 Blvd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, QC, Canada.
- Term: August 31, 2026, to December 18, 2026.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and authorization for the handling of controlled goods.
