About the role#
This co-op position offers an opportunity to join the systems engineering team at Collins Aerospace. You will work on the design of next-generation avionics computing products. This is a full-time, paid role based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, available for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering teams across hardware, software, and systems domains.
- Participate in the full systems engineering lifecycle for avionics products.
- Support projects from initial requirements and design through integration and verification.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Enrollment must continue through the completion of the co-op session.
- You must be a U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations.
- Experience with at least one programming language is preferred.
- A working knowledge of computer architecture is preferred.
