About the role#
Join our team as an Aircraft Operations Aviation Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will report to the Assistant Chief Pilot and work alongside mentors to learn the daily operations of a corporate flight department. This is a full-time, on-site position based in East Granby, Connecticut.
What you'll do#
- Assist with domestic and international flight planning and operations.
- Support aircraft maintenance and servicing activities.
- Participate in aircraft and crew scheduling processes.
- Contribute to customer service initiatives.
- Assist with flight planning and related documentation.
- Gain exposure to safety management systems and their implementation.
- Learn about security protocols and compliance with IS-BAO standards.
- Perform various office duties and collaborate on special projects with team mentors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a STEM-related degree program through the duration of the internship.
- A valid Private Pilot Certificate.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to meet U.S. Person status requirements.
We prefer candidates who have an Instrument Rating, a minimum GPA of 3.0, an understanding of basic engineering concepts, or experience using programming languages.
