About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is hiring for a Systems Engineering co-op position. This role focuses on processor-based requirements and verification within the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing sector. This is a full-time, paid position that does not provide immigration sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Capture processor-based requirements.
- Perform requirements verification.
- Learn design assurance standards such as ARP4754 and DO-297.
- Gain experience with development tools including JIRA, JAMA, and svn.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM major.
- You must be actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- You should have the ability to break down complex systems into smaller subparts.
- Experience with capturing requirements and writing test cases is preferred.
- Troubleshooting experience is beneficial.

- Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
