About the role#
Radio Systems Corporation is seeking a part-time Social Media Intern to join our team in Knoxville. This role involves 15 to 20 hours of work per week and focuses on digital marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling. You will work across our family of brands, including PetSafe, SportDOG, Premier Pet, and Kurgo, to drive engagement and support our marketing objectives.
What you'll do#
- Create, curate, and manage digital content, including social media posts and video assets.
- Execute the content calendar in alignment with marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Support digital marketing initiatives to improve traffic, lead generation, and brand awareness.
- Test, iterate, and distribute content across email, landing pages, and advertising channels.
- Manage partnerships with internal and external agencies and freelancers.
- Analyze content performance metrics and KPIs to provide insights for future strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine social listening and community engagement practices.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Firsthand experience in content marketing, including social media, user-generated content, or influencer marketing.
- Experience working with analytics and KPIs related to content performance.
- A natural curiosity and the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, straightforward way.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
