About the role#
Radio Systems Corporation is seeking a Social Media Intern to join the team in Knoxville. This is a part-time, on-site position requiring 15 to 20 hours of work per week. The role involves managing content across multiple brands, including PetSafe, SportDOG, Premier Pet, and Kurgo. You will work on projects ranging from content ideation to execution while managing priorities and deadlines.
What you'll do#
- Create, curate, and manage content for social media posts and video.
- Contribute to the execution of the Content Calendar for marketing campaigns.
- Support and drive digital marketing efforts to increase awareness, traffic, and sales.
- Create, test, and distribute engaging digital content across channels such as email and landing pages.
- Manage partnerships with internal and external agencies and freelancers.
- Analyze content performance metrics and report on KPIs to improve strategy.
- Collaborate with Customer Care and Customer Insights teams to refine social media and social listening practices.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Firsthand experience in content marketing, including social media, user-generated content, and influencer marketing.
- Experience with analytics and KPIs related to content marketing.
- A natural curiosity to understand new topics and the ability to express ideas in a simple, straightforward way.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with comfort in handling feedback and changing priorities.
