About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the Project Manager and the broader team during the development and execution of construction projects. This role offers exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities. You will gain hands-on experience with project management processes while contributing to real-world infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction tasks.
- Support the development of project schedules and track progress.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Help prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation.
- Assist with safety documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Manage project documents, including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks such as purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
