About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports our project managers and teams through the development and execution phases of energy infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on experience in engineering coordination, project controls, procurement, and construction activities while contributing to active projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Develop project schedules and track progress.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation under supervision.
- Help with safety documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Manage project documentation, including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks like purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
