About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports our project managers and team members during the development and execution of energy infrastructure projects. You will gain exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities. This role provides hands-on experience with project management processes and tools while you contribute to active projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the coordination of engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Support the development of project schedules and track progress.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Help prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation.
- Assist with safety-related documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Support document management, including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks such as purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
